Seresto™ Collar for Cats 

Seresto™ is safe for use on cats and kittens from ten weeks of age. In some cases, the collar can cause mild irritation leading to scratching, and possible skin changes such as redness and hair loss under the collar, usually within the first one to two weeks of collar application. In these instances, temporary removal of the collar may be recommended until the symptoms have disappeared. Please refer to the product label.

No, Seresto™ is not recommended for use on pregnant or lactating cats. For flea prevention, Advantage^TM for Cats can be used.  

Seresto™ innovative technology enables it to release controlled doses of the active ingredients over prolonged periods. The ingredients are transferred to your cat’s skin and fur and spread across their entire body, keeping your cat protected from fleas and paralysis ticks for 8 months, bush and brown dog tick for 4 months. Seresto has also overcome the challenges of conventional flea or tick collars to be water resistant* and odourless.

Seresto™ Collar for Cats is designed with a double safety-release mechanism. In the unlikely event of your cat being trapped, the collar will widen or open, allowing for a quick release. The collar is also equipped with a predetermined breaking point for additional safety if your cat were to get stuck. 

Yes Seresto™ can be worn alongside your cat’s usual collar without compromising its efficacy. Always ensure that the Seresto™ collar is in contact with the skin (i.e. next to their normal collar).
