An easy-to-use spot on, Advocate™ is a monthly flea and worm treatment protecting your pets from fleas, intestinal worms, such as roundworm, ear mites and feline lungworm in cats and lice in dogs.

One of the active ingredients, imidacloprid provides fast relief from fleas as it kills fleas on contact; meaning fleas don't need to bite your pet to die, providing more relief for your pet.

This means less stress and discomfort for your pet by minimising painful, itchy flea bites.

Imidacloprid also acts topically, targeting lice in dogs.

With continued monthly use of Advocate (4-5 months in dogs+ and 4 months in cats^), the second active ingredient, moxidectin reaches a steady state, meaning it can help provide continuous protection against new worm infestations between doses which means if your pet is exposed to infective larvae between doses these can be rapidly killed.

After application, the active ingredient, imidacloprid, spreads across your pet’s skin and coat killing fleas on contact within 12 hours, which means the fleas don’t need to bite your pet to die. This means less stress and discomfort for your pet by minimising painful, itchy flea bites.

After this, any reinfesting fleas are affected within 3-5 minutes of contact with your pet, and killed within 1 hour.

As your pet naturally sheds their skin and fur, tiny imidacloprid crystals are also shed into the environment, killing flea larvae. As Advocate™ kills both fleas and flea larvae, this is effectively helping to break the flea lifecycle.
