When you are facing a flea infestation there are 3 key steps to be taken, treat the pet, treat the home, continue regular ongoing preventative treatment. Capstar™ is an attack treatment and can be used in combination with your regular flea treatment products to achieve fast and effective results during an infestation.
With its fast mode of action, Capstar™ can stop the discomfort your pet feels from fleas whilst being used alongside a flea treatment such as Advantage™, Advocate™ or Seresto™ to prevent further infestations.
Works from inside out
Don’t forget, 95% of fleas in an active infestation are found off of the pet and present as immature stages throughout the pet's environment.
Where you do have an established flea infestation, it is important to treat all pets within the home, as well as to wash your pets bedding initially in hot water at 60° for at least 10 minutes, which helps physically to remove the eggs and kill larvae. Wash your pet's blankets, beds, pet carriers and throw rugs, if possible.
