Profender™ is a convenient, broad-spectrum de-worming topical treatment including several larval stages, applied every 3 months to adult cats which kills common New Zealand feline gastrointestinal worms including tapeworm, roundworm, hookworm* and lungworm+. Profender™ is tough on worms, but gentle on your cat.

How to apply ProfenderTM

1. Step

Remove one tube from blister packaging. Hold tube in an upright position, twist and pull off the cap.

2. step

Turn the cap over and place the other end of the cap onto the tip of the tube. Twist the cap to break the seal and then remove the cap from the tube.

3. step

Part the hair on the cat’s neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible.

4. Step

Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin. Apply only onto intact skin.

*Hookworm is not clinically significant in cats in New Zealand
