Seresto™ Flea and Tick Control collar
Your Pet Is Our Top Priority
Learn about the efficacy and safety profile of Seresto
The health and happiness of pets everywhere is our top priority. It’s why we make flea and tick preventives — so dogs and cats like yours can keep playing on.
Elanco takes the safety of our products very seriously, and thoroughly investigates potential concerns related to their use. It is critically important to understand that a report is not an indication of cause.
Since its initial approval in 2011, more than 120 million Seresto collars have protected dogs and cats globally from fleas and ticks which can transmit disease and impact their quality of life.
As a globally marketed product registered by more than 80 regulatory authorities around the world, the safety data collected over the course of Seresto’s development prior to registration/approval has been rigorously reviewed- a scrutiny that continues to this day by global regulatory bodies as well as via internal processes, to ensure that Seresto meets our customer’s highest expectations. In line with legislation, we regularly submit reports on the adverse events to the authorities. Based on these reports, authorities review the safety information, and the product leaflet is updated as appropriate. The Seresto leaflet in the UK, like in other countries, does not describe any link between the use of the product and death.
We believe the effective, long-lasting protection so many pet owners rely on, continues to justify its place in the market and our commitment to pet health also means empowering pet owners to make pet health decisions with care and confidence.
We are aware that there are counterfeit collars in circulation within the market. It is crucial that pet owners purchase real and genuine Seresto products from authorised veterinary practices and trusted retailers to help ensure product authenticity and performance.
